“I write about space in a way that makes people care about it.
I tell the stories behind humanity’s greatest adventure — the missions, the people, and the science pushing us further into the unknown.
As a freelance space and astronomy writer based in London, I specialise in making complex ideas feel urgent, accessible and human. Whether it’s a deep-dive on a spacecraft launch, a profile of an astronaut, or an explainer on what a black hole actually is – I write for the reader who is curious but not yet expert.
I was the Space Exploration section editor at Popular Astronomy, the Society for Popular Astronomy’s members’ magazine, and I’m a Fellow of the Royal Astronomical Society. My work has appeared in BBC Sky At Night, BBC Science Focus, and Al Jazeera.
I bring nearly a decade of experience across editorial and digital product development in the brands and publishing industry – which means I understand deadlines, editors, and what makes a piece land online as well as in print.
If you’re commissioning science writing that doesn’t talk down to its readers, I’d love to hear from you.
